How does PUSH Factory Tuning improve the ride of my Boxxer?

On a standard Boxxer, if you have the rebound speed nice and slow for the first 50mm of travel, it will be too slow when you go deep into the travel, and the fork can’t return quickly enough. The PUSH Factory Tuning system has a high-speed shim stack which allows the fork to return quicker deep in the stroke, giving a much better response and feeling of more travel. What parts are added in a PUSH tune, and how do they improve the ride?

  • PUSH “Vault” damper seal housing which offers maximum sealability while maintaining smooth function under extreme loading. CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum featuring a urethane rod seal and upper and lower T-40 lined rod bushings.
  • High Flow Rebound Piston offering large port volume and tuneability of the fork’s High Speed Rebound characteristic. CNC Machined to exacting standards.
  • Proprietary PTX piston glyde ring designed for maximum load bearing while offering friction free running even at high temperature levels.
  • Compression Mid-Valve which increases support to reduce the “porpoise” effect during multiple deep stroke impacts as well as increasing the damper’s response during high frequency events.

  • Type III Hardcoat treated damping rod, precision ground and polished for stiction free performance and ultimate sealability
  • 25 click external low speed rebound adjustment
  • High speed rebound via Internal high flow shimmed rebound piston for increased response to successive bumps
  • High flow mid-valve design providing increased damping support under braking and “square edge” type impacts
