Why is it so hard to get Manitou parts at the moment?
Manitou was bought by the Hayes Brake group in 2006 and has slowly started to change its internal systems. In the late summer of 2007 Manitou warehouse has been moved across the U.S. All parts orders are taking a while whilst they build up their stocks in the new warehous. Things are slowly improving with recent deliveries being much improved.
Remember that Manitou only produce parts for the last 3 model years. This can lead to problems, especially if you only have older models.
