Packing your fork/shock
Materials needed: Forks - box (the original fork box will always be best). Shock - jiffy bag/box inside. Padding – eg bubble wrap/air bags, packing tape. NOT shredded paper or polystyrene foam – it gets everywhere and drives us nuts when unpacking!!
1: Make sure the suspension unit is clean in order to avoid the wrath of the technician who will be lovingly tuning and servicing your suspension. Remove all the parts from it like quick release skewers etc.
2: If you're packing forks, protect the stanchions from being scratched, using cardboard or bubble wrap. Also try to protect the disk brake-mounts, and quick release wheel mounts, if it has them

3: If you're packing a shock, wrap it up in bubble wrap or cardboard to avoid damage.

4: Box the unit up, and pack any space out with plenty of bubble wrap/air bags etc to avoid it being loose inside the box.
6: Tape the box up securely and attach the TF address label from the service order form (remember to include your booking reference so that we can identify your job when it comes into the workshop).

Things to remember -
- We recycle our packaging and boxing, so you should expect to receive the suspension unit as you sent it to us.
- Please try to find a box which isn't too ratty and dog-eared. It just means we have to waste resources by sending out a new box, and disposing of the old one!
